Waive Cancellation Fees for No-Show Guests from Booking.com

Cancellation fees are an effective incentive to prevent guests from ghosting on their reservations.

However, there are some cases when a guest cannot make their original reservation, and simply wants to book a later date.

With this in mind, Hostaway property managers can now waive cancellation fees when reporting a no-show on Booking.com reservations. That way, your guest can book a reservation on the same property at a later date, without being penalized.

How it works

  1. In the Reservations module, click on a Booking.com reservation from the list

  2. In the top right corner, select the "Report no show"

  3. Select the box "Waive cancellation fees for the guest", and click "Confirm"
