In our Public API, all financial fields have a “type” assigned (e.g. fee, tax etc.). However, the existing linked types were a bit outdated, and hard to build logic on.
We are updating the financial fields to group the standard field to a related type. This may impact some users when using the Public API. The new financial field types include:
Accommodation
Discount
Fee
Tax
Commissions
Totals
Other
Note: Clients retrieving financial information from the Calculate reservation price endpoint may be impacted.
