Lower Deductible for Hostaway Insurance powered by Safely

We have updated the dwelling coverage for Hostaway Insurance powered by Safely to offer more peace of mind and lower financial barriers when protecting your vacation rentals.

What's new:

  • Reduced Dwelling Deductible: The deductible for dwelling coverage is being reduced from $2,500 down to $500.

  • Automatic Application: This update applies to all eligible reservation check-ins on or after July 1st, 2026.

What remains unchanged:

  • Contents Coverage: The $3,000 contents coverage keeps the $0 deductible.

  • No Pricing Adjustments: You receive these improved coverage terms with no increase in your insurance add-on pricing.

Eligibility & Restrictions:
Please note that this insurance is only available for single units in the United States, excluding:

  • New York State

  • Puerto Rico

  • US Virgin Islands
