Formulas Displayed and Calculated as Percentages

When setting commission rates, a formula of 0.2 is often recommended to simplify calculations when combined with other formulas. However, when this data was displayed in rental activity or owner statements, it continued to display as a number instead of a percentage.

We have now added a new option in the formula settings called “Display this formula as a percentage.” When the option is selected, it will be clearly shown as percentages, and totals will represent an average, making the data much clearer and present in csv’s and owner statements. This setting is applied at the general formula level and affects all listings.

Along with the update, when generating the PmCommission using the formula wizard, this option will be enabled by default to prevent confusion. We’ve also updated all existing PmCommission Formulas generated from the formula wizard to now display as a percentage.
