Previously, Booking.com reported fees and taxes using localized names, which could appear in different languages or not match our existing list. Occasionally, new fees and taxes introduced by Booking.com require Hostaway to update and map them accordingly.
Starting in the next 7 days, the latest list of Booking.com fees and taxes will be applied to all reservations with check-ins from January 1st onward.
Key changes:
- Tourism Fee & Resort Fee: Previously mapped to "City Tax," these will now be mapped separately to "Tourism Fee" and "Resort Fee" for better accuracy in Hostaway.
